Sydney, Nova Scotia - The Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM) in partnership with the Cape Breton Partnership, with our coordination, successfully held the CBRM GOV-Asian Community Business Investment Symposium [ROUND-2] on Friday, March 31, 2023 for Asian Investors and Entrepreneurs. The symposium took place at the Kavanaugh Room of the Joan Harriss Cruise Pavilion from 3:00-5:00 pm.

The symposium marked the second round of discussions between the CBRM and Asian business community to explore investment opportunities in the region. Building on the progress made in the previous round, the participants discussed in-depth topics related to healthcare import, technology education, and real estate investment.

The symposium provided a platform for both parties to further advance the business projects and explore potential collaboration opportunities. Among the main discussions was the formation of an Asian Community Business Investment Club, aimed at fostering closer relationships between the Asian business community and the CBRM.
